The traffic lights were just before the turn from hume highway to the tullamarine freeway. The clouds were pretty dark and I see see a heavy downpour coming up and SMM was in front of me and I thought if he wasn't going to stop and put his top up, neither was I. However I got it up in the nick of time

Turkeymeister, I've heard about your chamios! I was VERY glad I've got the hardtop - I guess while I was still coming down the divide in a downpour, some others had been running at warp 9 and got ALOT closer to Melbourne... pcs2k - you aren't supposed to use what you learnt on the track on the road - your brain must have exploded when the speedo hit 111kmph... or were you still grinning so hard you forgot...

Altona? Isn't that the place WITHOUT BAs that try to stop projects that belong to other areas? But as long as they keep signing the timesheets

Billyblue,

I noticed as we 'slowly' passed you at a fraction over the speed limit that your near side headlight was out - not sure if you were aware of this (and didn't want to tell you on the day as that would have really topped it off after the handbrake incident).

pcs2k, great shots - I took some photos from that race steward gantry at the last Honda day. It gives a great view as you head up hill towards you.

Thanks SMM, was great driving back, you lead really well meandering past all in the heavy Hume Highway traffic and yet keeping to the speed limit at all times. Well done. sh..... don't say anything about what happen to billyblue. I will be giving a report on that.
