Default S02 is out of production

Here's the facts (soon to be part of a sticky):

When the S2000 was developed Bridgestone were contracted to design a tyre specifically for it.

At the time Bridgestone's leading performance tyre was the S02 so the S2000 tyre got this name.

When Bridgestone produced the S03 to replace the S02 the S2000 specific tyre was not replaced.

When a dealer tells you the S02 has been superseeded by the S03 he is talking about the generic tyre.

The 'S2000 S02' is still available (at time of writing) and anyone who says it isn't is just showing their level of ignorance.

It can be identified by the numbers 89W and 92W (F and R).

They should be $250-300 a corner.

They're still available.

Paid $269 for fronts and $289 for rears at Bridgestone in Atarmon - Feb 2007.
Plus $70 for 4-wheel alignment.

The tyres had to be ordered but only took 2 days to arrive.
