Default Roof fading - help!

Guys and Gals,

As you may know, Im a new owner of a 2nd hand S. I notice that the roof colour is fading and looks patchy. I know it will fade naturally anyways but I was wondering if I can put back some of the colour? Is there something I can do? Some sort of a conditioner? I do have 303 but want to clean and replenish it before I protect it.

I have done a quick search but nothing of interest came up. Lots of threads on how to protect but not on how to restore colour.

Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply

I already do have the 303...havent applied it yet. I thought it was a protectant only and not a 'restorer/replenshier'. But ok Ill give it a shot. Thanks.

You can get 303 at Bias boating supplies in Sydney .
There is a link in here for all locations of Bias boating in Sydney .

Mate , i used the 303 on my roof and it gives it back abit of colour . Try to always park under cover .

Vuey did you purchase 303 through Bias Boating??
I went on a goose chase from the store @ Warwick Farm to Parramatta and they say that they have never heard of it.

303 will only last a couple of weeks and then starts to look patchy itself - in my view it's nothing more than high priced Armour All.

The reality is that you will need to get the roof restained if you truly want to put colour back into it.

An even better alternative is to drive around with the roof permanently down (yes, even in Melbourne) - that way no one gets to see how crappy your roof looks.

mate , i got the last bottle of it at Warrick farm ! i got it last week ! so im probably the SOB who beat you to it !
ahahahah
it was $19.95 a bottle . I think 2kturkey is right , just seems like a fancy Armour All .

And i did read somewhere in the Honda web site that they 'designed this car to be driven with the roof down'!
