Installing the roof, without taking out the frame, should not have impacted with the motors at all, as they are well hidden behind brackets, and chassis braces.
Maybe by fluke your motor is now fubar, unlikely. Or they did a suspect install.. more likely.

One of the earthing wires was loose, apparently the problem is all sorted out now!
