"POLICE NOW TARGETTING METREOSEXUALS"
i think purple can go either way. guy at work has a purple XR6 turbo ute looks ok for a bloke. but if your driving a car that both girls and guys favour equally then depending on the shade of purple its generally a girls car.

Superbabe- before i go looking at a red car what is wrong with a bloke driving a red car? (not that im overly keen on the colour myself)

Well I did mean cool, dark and sparkley purple

The red car thing was just something about the ego. But I dunno Doesn't really matter what somebody thinks bout the colour as long as you think it's hot

If you're gonna have a respray though, why not go a bit

good paint alone would cost a couple of grand; some paint is $1000 a litre for house of kolor. Its a good idea to get a spare litre of the paint from the same batch they mix up for touch up and any extra bumpers etc that you might need sprayed in the future.

A good respray costs around $5-6k. That includes stripping it down to bare metal and prepping it, spraying on a couple of coats of paint and a few clear coats. More if you want the engine bay done too.

Those 1500-2000 jobs are all backyard jobs or habib's cousin doing mates rates because ali helped him out with a few free grams of coke last new years. Some guys go to the spray booths that you can hire and do it there. I've seen a few of those jobs; they dont take off the door handles and the paint gets clogged up between the door handle, the rubber mount and the door skin and you can expect some blotches.

Vuey is right though - get it done properly or dont bother at all.
