Respray any one?
just wondering if anyone has had a respray done. change of colour is what im researching. would like to know if its worth finding a car in the condition i like and spraying it to the colour i want. what did you pay etc etc. any opinions, experiences or advice would be appreciated....

for a complete respray - i.e Everything out engine/roof/interior etc ... your looking at about $7-8k , and add a couple more if you want pearl colours. And more again if the body requires any work for dings scratches etc .
As for an outerbody respray , you can get it done from about $1500-2200 .

i knew a guy that had his own compressor and paint gun and would use acrylic paint and change teh colour of his car every few months. from a distance it looked ok ( as ok as kermit green with flames can be) but up close u could see the imperfections. i never understood it, but he seemed to enjoy the novelty value
