I seldom if ever put the top up, but when I do I'd like to be able to see through the rear window.

Can anyone recommend a good plastic cleaning product available in Aus. I know the yanks are mad about Plexus, but I haven't seen that here.

I use Mothers Plastic Polish that I bought in Auto One. It works very fast and leaves the window very clear, but it is mildly abrasive I think. Nothing major as it won't scratch.

I have found Plexus in Melbourne (thanks 2kturkey!!). It is available at my local Autobarn (Doncaster).

It definitely does clean the 'haziness' from the rear window, but doesn't really remove the fine scratches. Apparently the Honda product does a better job at removing these...

Plexus is good but it takes a fair bit more effort than some of the more abrasive polishes. I use one of the Meguiars and then Plexus after it.

Hi Snowie, I haven't seen you around the board before.

Are you in the HSCC?

Are you supposed to use wax on the plastic?

Zymol (who are pretty well regarded) sell a rear window cleaning kit that contains their HD cleanser and a small tub of their Cream carnuba wax. I believe that if Zymol are happy to market a wax for protecting plastic rear windows it should be OK...
