Default Rear axle and Tranny

hey all. got an s2k with a problem with the rear axle, and the usual buzzing noise from the clutch.

its a 99 model.

what are some common problems with the rear axle on the 99 model s2k?
i am guessing could it be my rear diff going out ??

what would i be looking at in $$$ to get this fixed?

It helps to know what the problem is before you ask the cost of the solution.

how about u actually take it to a mechanic first, work out the actual problem, and then waste everyone elses time as well as urs by asking questions that could be answered by a qualified mechanic that has physically seen ur car. sounds pretty good

My psychic diagnosis is that your problem is really that you have left the jack loose in the rear of the car and its rattling around under VTEC.

Cost to fix that would be $89.95 at your local honda dealer with a car wash thrown in.

Chris.

PS. Let me know if this fixes your problem as my crystal ball was only re calibrated last week.
