quick question
I was looking through this forum cause I plan on visiting Australia soon and just wanted to check out some of your cars. Anyways, what is the black thing under the headlights? and also is that dark blue a stock color?

Black thing under the headlights is the headlight washers. These are mandatory on any car with Xenon/HID headlights in Australia.
The blue is called Monte Carlo Blue - a stock/OEM colour available in Australia.

"Other than Sydney where else is a good place to visit?"
JerryinS2K, that's a bit like saying.........
I'm going to America, Other than New York where else is a good place to visit?
If you take away Alaska, Australia is bigger (in square miles) than the USA.
It really depends on what you are interested in. Do you want warm tropical weather with snorkeling & scuba diving? Do you want endless beaches with good waves for surfing. Do you want to go hiking in mountains & valleys, or off-road mountain biking?
Are you interested in the vast plains ( & deserts) of the outback. Do you fancy a bit of crocodile hunting? If you like driving on mountain roads then Tasmania is the place to go.
How long are you staying, are you planning on buying an S2K whilst you're here? Do you want to go skiing in the winter? Will you be interested in driving on the track?
Perhaps if you tell us what you're interested in we can give you a better general guide and some more specific suggestions.

With the number of memebers here in different parts of Oz we can probably give some good suggestions on each of our local areas.
If you are unsure where to start - the lonely planet guides may give you an idea.

On another note - last year there was still some good snow in the beginning of October at the NSW ski resorts. This is generally the last week of the ski season however.
