positioning the gear knob upright ?

Default positioning the gear knob upright ?

sup guys,
i just got a new gear knob but no matter how much i try to position numbers up right it tends to be 30 degrees off...it kinda sucks ...is there a way to screw it on properly ?? anyone?

Position it a little past straight then tighten the lock nut up and it'll return it to straight. If you don't get it right first time just adjust accordingly.
