Seriously, compare control features with Modifry's DCI first. The older PAC devices were very basic. They offered the same control as stock. If Modifry does a DCI that works for that head unit you'd be crazy not to get it. And we're about to do a GB.

Oooh, oooh, I know that one!

Sony promote it as iPod ready because it comes with a generic AUX option. But to get iPod control, track display and charging you need the Connects2 interface. Sony list it on their website for use with MD players.

I bought mine direct from Connects2 for about

dbzerk i just downloaded the pdf manual for the deck, mines coming from the us so may be a different model?
i think that they all have the wired remote control though
but the manual doesnt say what type of plug it is
on the diagram it looks like a wire coming out of the deck with what looks like a 3.5mm plug on it, but i cant be sure
PACs website does say that the 3.5mm plug DCI will work with a wired jvc deck

modifrys site states that you need the IR type for jvc
i think ill email him and clarify

thanks aus! i'll have to 'invest' in one..

i have a dvd of mp3s in there now, and it is so frustrating to wait for it to read the disk each time!!

i didnt think there was any video display at all.. so i wont complain - as you said, especially considering the price!

would have loved a bit of an EQ bar display, or some novelty crap..
