Oooh, just been told by Pioneer that there is now a bluetooth plug in module that will work with my head unit!!

Apparently it is the CD-BTB100 but the new web site (www.pioneer.com.au) is all over the place at the moment and although I can see a picture of it I can't get any details.

dbzerk, have you seen this?

I'm pretty sure there isn't a wired DCI on the back of the JVC...
Also no plans on bluetooth for JVC and you will have to powerfile the door so that it will close..

Great unit tho.. Not what im after..

all upper model jvc and alpine decks work with one of the dash intefaces by PAC
not sure which model number it is
its wired as these decks have provisions to be interfaced with most steering wheel controls on cars
there are aftermarket bluetooth units that work with most major brand head units

ill find the link and post it soon

ok the PAC SWI-ALP interface is a hard wired DCI designed to work with all alpine, kenwood and jvc decks with wired remote inputs

im not sure exactly what type of interface this is called, but in the user manual for the KD AVX2 jvc deck it does say that is has a wired remote input.

this is only going by what ive read on the manufacturers website
my deck is in the post so ill let you know if it works when i get it

still trying to get my hands on the PAC SWI-ALP as none of the ones on ebay will ship to australia, still trying to work that out
