Default Pioneer BLUETOOTH H/U

For those of you looking at getting a headunit soon... wait for this!

Pioneer Bluetooth unit.. Allows you to connect your bluetooth compatible phone and use your HU as a car kit!
Retail price would be around $700ish
Should be getting them around March.

Can I connect my dash controls to it? If not, forget it!

I love the dash controls and I couldn't stand not being able to use them anymore.

LOL, forget that. I doubt the guy at the local audio store has any idea and if he does it's probably the SWI-X at $200. Modifry's DCI handles previous Pioneer units so unless they've changed things it would work. And not only does it retain you dash controls it actually adds useful ones like track forward and back and Disc/Folder up and down.

The DCI would be the best choice for our cars.
It has been specifically made to suit our cars so there wont be any compatibility issues.
The IR type on the pioneer unit is the same as the 3 previous generations so the current model DCI would suit this aswell.

Very sweet!!

Let me know if they produce a plug-in bluetooth module that will work with any of their HUs.

Hey guys,

I got this HU at xmas and its the dogs dangly bits. I'm just getting the adaptor to retain the dash controls. Also getting the ipod box too. I'm using the motorola V3 with the HU. I reckon it would suit a nokia better cos you can actually upload your entire phone book!!! All I can say its it brilliant.
