The racing drivers' course was about $600. Not cheap, but you do get two days on the track.

600 bucks?!?!?! Holy Crap!!!
I'll stick to learning from best motoring video's. Love those lightning heal toe's they do.

Unfortunately if you want a CAMS C3 Licence you must do a course like this. The normal car control courses would be much cheaper I'm sure.

What kinda racing does a C3 license entitle you to?

Basically anything short of categories that require special licences like F1. It's what you need to do closed circuit racing where you actually compete against other cars on the circuit at the same time as opposed to supersprints where you are racing the clock. C3 is like the provisional licence of motor sport. You have to do a certain number of races on P plates and some duty as a flag marshal, then you move on to C4 which is what all the racers you see on TV have.
