Shouldn't matter - David and I were able to obtain 6.4s two up in his car.

Yeah, 6.4 was very repeatable with 2 people on board. We got 6.28 on one run which was the best one with 2 people on-board.

Does anyone have proper stats as to what our S2000 pulls on the quater mile , when reading the other mags they seem to record 14.7

What do you mean by 'proper' stats? Though best time I've seen in Motor/Wheels is 6.4/14.56 for the 0-100kph and 400m. In Germany they've often managed 6.2 for the 0-100kph with 5.8 the best time I've seen. UK do 0-60mph (which is good 0.5sec quicker then 0-100kph) but I can recall 5.6/14.2 from a UK mag. Then there's US who have printed as low as 5.3 for the 0-60mph and 13.8 for the 1/4mile.

Also, local "Fast Fours" magazine managed 6.2 and 13.9 ... someone on this board has a copy.

So take your pick - anything with 'proper' timing equipment qualifies as 'proper' time ... which would include the beforementioned 8.31/15.76. Though, if you ask me then I'd put the S2000 exactly lineball with a 255kW HSV ... as my father has one and there's literally nothing between the two cars when both are asked for the maximim acceleration. They've clocked the HSVs here at anything between 5.85 - 6.9 for the 0-100kph and 13.99 - 14.7 for the 400m. Conditions and the surface play a big part in these things.

Well come to think of it - i may pull out the s2000 motor and drop it in the Mighty Boy - theres as an idea

Naishou: considering they come out with 19kw standard that means dropping the turbo chargered motor in would give it 36kw extra not bad ha. i really didnt know they came out turbo charged in Japan. I recall a friend of mine saying a performance place on Parramatta road dropped in a Suzuki Swift GTI motor in one , i believe they have 74kw or something - dont know how true this is - sorry to get off the topic , this is the s2000 forum not the Mighty Boy forum

74kW? Tyre shredding madness It wasn't a Wagon R as such that I saw with a turbo. The Wagon R is a little van thing. I don't know if its chassis is closely related to the Mighty Boy but I suspect the engines and transmissions share mounting points within the Suzuki kei car range so the turbo 660cc might be a direct swap.
