I'm getting mine for cheaper than 3.5k ... I just have to source hardtop strikers...

Would it be cheaper buying from Hardtopguy and waiting 4 months...or getting ripped off my a Honda dealer?

Convenience is a big deal for me. I can pick up my hardtop in Sydney this week or next...rather than wait for my Mugen to arrive from Japan via Malaysia only to be sent back to Japan or whatever...

 

Are you referring to the rear latches and catchers? The fronts are the same as the soft top.

They are often available secondhand in the market place. That's where I got mine.

 

Hardtop strikers (http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/prod...&cat=92&page=1) are thicker/bigger than the standard ones.

I'm getting all the other hardware like the rear catches and all the latches with the hardtop

 

Just a note, if you order anything from Hardtopguy then your in for quite a wait. Your parts could take upto months to arrive as he is quite slow.

I would just order from Honda as the wait from hardtopguy is a killer.
