I have also read about fitment issues with the OEM, Mugen, and Mugen replicas from forum members on this site, so go figure.
Also OEM is probably the only HT complianced.
Notice keyword there is 'read' . Both Stealth and I have installed OEM and authentic Mugen HT's. Both fit good IMHO, Mugen fits extremely well. Zero issues encountered if you are familiar with the HT mounting hardware.

Mugen is very light compared to OEM. I can take the Mugen off the car by myself as with OEM is it way too heavy. Of course the full carbon Mugen is great, but if you were to compare it to the $4K OEM for sale, I'd choose the FRP authentic Mugen HT price for price.

are you saying that other forum members especially in the States are posting up their Fitment issues can and do occur with any HT, you guys and many others btw don't have fitment issues, me included. But it does happen.
I have been eye-ing that OEM HT in the FS section, it appears to be mint with no fitting issues.

Again keyword 'read'. Have you fitted an OEM and authentic Mugen HT? Replica's don't count BTW.

Well it is important to at least be capable of comprehension, no experience with the OEM or Mugen fitting but that's no secret, can't be that much of a big deal. Care to write up a DIY?

Yes it is important, if you could then I wouldn't need to make an extra post reciting the keyword 'read'. I was trying to get the point that you haven't had any first hand experience in fitting OEM or authentic Mugen.

Also no. I am not prepared to go outside to the garage, take everything apart and write a DIY for you. Someone else I might consider it.

I'm sorry, I just can't imagine a better fit than the OEM. As good as maybe, but better?

What sort of issues did you have with the OEM?
how can this be so, when, maybe 30-40% of the Authentic Mugen HT is in fact OEM as in side window seals, front and rear hard wares, shims and base seal. I suspect that this is what makes up the costs that make the authentic mugen $.
