Cool, thanks guys.
I like the OEM. It's light, has defroster, doesn't need mucking around with custom windows and all that

While the defroster is not exactly a required item. Without the defroster, there are other ways to clear up a fogged up view. Fact is, a genuine Mugen hardtop does fit better than a genuine Honda OEM hardtop no matter how many adjustments you try to make to it.
A true engineered dry carbon hardtop (not specific to any tuner brand) will command the structural strength expected from a factory OEM aluminum hardtop, without the weight.
A fibreglass hardtop is truly more aesthetics than true function, in this case the OEM hardtop is a more superior choice. We can argue until the cows come home, there is no facts to be disputed.

I'm sorry, I just can't imagine a better fit than the OEM. As good as maybe, but better? I lower it on, flick the rear latches, flick the front latches. Taking it off is the reverse. And someone else might have 'read from internet' but I took my hardtop off just last night.
What sort of issues did you have with the OEM?

The genuine Mugen Fiberglass is 20kg no window, the CF is about 15kg no window and OEM is 20kg with window.
I pulled those figures from memory so someone can correct me if I'm wrong. The point is the difference in weight none/not that much.
