I use the handbrake technique. You don't slip the clutch much at all but it gives you time to take off smoothly and use relatively low revs. Otherwise on really steep hill, without using the handbrake, you tend to over-rev and you slip the clutch anyway or you dump the clutch and end up doing a silly little burn-out.

33htz - can I ask where (dealer?) and what sort of clutch you got for that price?
Just spoke to Race Brakes Vic and they are no longer selling rebuilt s2k units. I am awaiting a quote on some aftermarket options from them.
