KONI YELLOWS>KING SPRINGS BAD COMBINATION
Hey guys i have searched through coutless threads on springs and shocks and haven't been able to come up with a decisive desicion . I bought my 00 AP1 with koni yellows and king springs. From what i have read king springs are not all that good, and i have recently started to have rubbing problems at the front end . Does anyone know a combination for koni yellows that would keep the car low but eliminate the rubbing. I have 225/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 on the rear. Would changing front tires to 225/35/18 make any difference?

Changing the profile won't make much difference. Change the width perhaps.
But it pays to actually address the problem. If your tyre and wheel combination didn't rub initially then I'm guessing your springs have sagged/settled. Might have to spring (sorry) for some higher quality coils. They won't be as low as the kings currently are but then they won't rub either.

i had king springs on mine , and i wouldnt use them again .
i only wanted to drop my car 1.5 inches , but it ended up being more like 2.5 inches. They just kept sagging . I sure it must of thrown off the geometry of the car's suspension .
on our current S , the stock springs have been compressed and work really well. They are a high quality material and have not sagged .

Sounds like eibach springs are the way to go then. I have had a look on ebay and there are none listed for s2000, does anybody know a good place to buy them from? Also if i change springs would it change the camber of my wheels?
Haha...thanks Aus....does anyone have an idea of what i should be paying for these?
