It's basically double DIN. IIRC it's 196mm wide. Can't remember the height but whatever a double-DIN headunit is.

If I Remember Correctly

You are correct but why does it matter? The double din reference was to give you an idea of width and height, depth is irrelevant as you are looking to fit a slim screen in there.

Or are you considering a CRT screen??!!

People have fitted full depth headunits in the dash by modifying the duct behind it. And many Double-DIN units are much shallower than normal head units so it might be an option, just not the option I was looking for.

i was asking bout depth because a double din head unit is a cheaper and easier alternative to seperate units (interms of getting the touch screen to control the deck)

aus when you say modifying the ducts , how extensive
youve seen whats behind...do you thinks its worth it?

from your pictures it seems like theres onbly about under 100mm of room before you would hit the duct

If you are thinking along those lines then you could consider just putting a single DIN head unit with flip out touch screen into the dash. There would be more chance of having the room for that rather than a double DIN unit.

so a single din unit in the bezel?
wont that look bit crapy?

plus as aus said the single din units especially a fold out screen are deeper that double din units

Not really sure. It depends on the depth of the headunit.

I suggest you ask in the dash cutting club.
