Try Vero (previously known as Royal & Sun Alliance), I insured with them last year when I was 23 for 00 for Rating 1. I have an alarm but did not need to get one for insurance, it's a piece of mind thing.
Vero are pretty good and give you choice of repairer. I actually got through them from an insurance broker who checked out a few insurance companies. Everyone quoted me at least 00 except for Vero. I thought maybe their policies might be a bit dodgy for the price but they are really good. They fixed my car recently with no hassles.

I'm paying around $2700 with just car insurance. I live in a low risk suburb in Sydney. I'm 24 with no claim bonus, no accident history.

I rang vero and they said that they don't insure under 25s for the s2000. So who are you insured with now, and how come you changed?

Thanks 69 - Suncorp were the cheapest last year - this year Vero were approx $300 less than suncorp.
I just logged on there and cant find a link to the car/motor insurance page.
