This Sunday the HSCC is doing a drive up the Putty Rd and back down the Wollombi Rd.

Sound familiar? It's basically the same drive we planned to do for the last S2ki drive (we actually got the idea from them but hey!).

So if you missed the last S2ki drive, or would just like to do it again, this is the ultimate opportunity to sign up with the HSCC. It'll be a bit more sedate than the last one too.

Details below:

OK, have I got a treat for you! Well some of you anyway as I know that some club members did part of this run recently (which I wanted to do as a recce but couldn't due to family time).

This month we're heading North to the Hunter Valley for Lunch. We're going up the Putty Road up to the northern Hunter before we turn back at Broke for lunch at the Mill Restaurant in the Tuscany Wine Estate, cnr Hermitage and Mistletoe Roads. The Putty Road is just a sensational road, especially when dry!

On the way back to Sydney we'll tackle the Broke to Wollembi drive, which has some dirt but is an excitingly narrow and steep drive following the

Watangan Mountains and then on down to Peats Ridge with a final stop at the Pie in the Sky.

Meeting point: The Waratah Cafe, New Line Road, DURAL.
On the right hand side of New Line Road as you head north to Dural from Pennant Hills Road - one of our regular starting points.

Starting time: 9.00am departure at Dural. Drivers briefing at 8.45am

Contact: Stephen Wells <Stephen.Wells@ca.com> or PM swells65 to sign up.

Need to bring: Money: There'll be a snack stop at Halfway on the Putty Road, and lunch $20 - $25 per head should cover.

Great drive that one.... I remember it, from when I lived up in Canberra and attended many HSCC-NSW days!!

Just watch out for cops, on the way up to the 'Pie in the Sky'.... they regularly frequent that area!

Will that black NSX be there?

I'm still recovering from the last cruise! This sounds like a mirror image repeat of the last one.

Don't think i could make it, probably will have to be picking up my header/strut bar this weekend!

There are now 6 NSX's in the club so the chances are pretty high. If you're referring to the slow, wide bodied NSX from Eastern Creek, then yes, I expect it will be there. If not, then the owner will be there in his red NSX. Jammy bastard!

I'd love to "cruise" with some NSXs, but it's a damn long drive...

Hey but thats kinda ironic though. S2000's going on the hard fanging drives, NSX's going to the slow cruising ones

Does not make sense!

I'd give my left nut to take some photos of any NSX on a decent day or sunset.
