High speed rear vibration
I've noticed that when im at high speeds the rear of my car vibrates (hard). I was thinking wheel balancing but it only seems to be there when i put the power down at speeds over 100. When i back off the power at 120ish, the vibrations and wobbles stops..
I'm 60% certain it didn't feel like this awhile ago but i can be wrong..
Could it have something to do with the diff? How can you tell if thats on its way out?
Thanks all

The vibration is more likely to be caused by something to do with the wheels than the diff.
A couple of years ago there was a TSB about tightening the axle nuts. There's also some joints (whose name eludes me for the moment) that need lubrication.
If Courtney & Patterson can't nail it for you, take it down to Carl Schembri - he's THE Master at solving elusive squeaks & vibrations.

Here's a test: accelerate around a left hand corner, then accelerate through a right hand corner. If the vibration is greater whilst accelerating right your problem is your CV joints.
Got the shakes
BTW, the simple "got no warranty" fix is to swap CVs from left to right.

hey ... Redrover and AusS2000 gave you two very sensible answers (and informative answers )... after that it was open season on your ass .
dump the clutch at 7000rpm ( do about 4 or 5 times ) and if is still good after that then you know its the cv's
