I also had the luxury to drive one.
It is definitely fast!
However, I felt that there wasn't enough torque at the low rpms (my Z06 is a bit peppier at low rpms).
The interior is definitely more friendlier than the Murc or Diablo. You can tell that Audi had it's hand in it.
Rear visibility is pretty good compared to the Murc or Diablo (though I haven't driven the Murc or Diablo, but I've sat in them).
The gallardo is also very low, scrapes even on the slightest dips/driveways.
"E-gear" is pretty quick and smooth. Downshifts are rev matched pretty well.
Headroom is pretty good as well, I'm 6'0" and had no problems fitting in.
There are some cheap components that I feel shouldn't be in a ~$180 car. All the exterior black mesh are plastic, inside door handle covers are plastic, radio (although bose) isn't that great.
I also would have like to see the shift pedals on the steering column move with the steering wheel when turning.
