Front Tyre Wear

Front Tyre Wear
I have 33,000K on my front tyres now and like most fronts with factory alignment the inside inch or so has worn faster. Maybe it's my imagination but I feel as though I am now experiencing a touch of understeer as a result.
Anyway, I just bought 2 new front OEM W Rated SO2s from Bob Jane for $260 ea (unfitted) and am pretty sure this will cure my 'problem'.
Has anyone else found the same thing with the steering feel once their fronts get worn?

I don't think the wearing of the front inside shoulders would affect understeer in any significant way, especially when not exploring its limits on a track. The understeer you are experiencing may be due to the tyres being over heat cycled and actually losing its adhesive properties despite the tread still showing to be OK. Or maybe you hit a pothole and wacked the suspension and affected the wheel alignment.
