First day at the tracks!
Well what can i say?
First time at the race tracks and it was a blast!
I learnt so much about the car; how it handles, and how new i am to the world of driving
My mate and i left home 5 in the morning, met up with a few other mates, maccas for breakfast then finally got to wakefield park about half past 8. It was a nice turnout; heavily modified evo's, 180sx, minicoopers, na8's, even an r35! There were 3 groups for the first 3 runs, then a few more showed up and the fourth group was formed. I thought it was good! Had enough track time, and gave sufficient cooldown period for the car.
I did come across one issue though, on the fourth run (each goes for about 15mins), i couldn't shift into 3rd at high revs. Clutch completely depressed and no luck, had to let the revs drop a bit then it'd engage. I did not overrev or misshift during the day. Anyone have any suggestions? In normal driving conditions the car shifts fine. Could it be the synchro?
Anyhow, thanks for reading! Hopefully, there'll be an organised track day for s2ki sometime!
Ciao
