Finance and Insurance on a '99
Hi all,
can anyone recommend the best place to go in australia (victoria preferably) for auto finance and insurance on a '99 s2000?
Had a few quotes, best finance i've had so far is 9.5% with a 30% deposit.
Best insurance was Just cars costing abuot $1300 annually, with a $1600 excess (a whole lot of excess!!)
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!

I was paying $1900 annually ($650 excess) with RAC last year but they refused to renew my policy this year due to a recent claim & driving record.

hehe mate thats cheap.....i pay $2500 a year with $1800 excess. I get young driver excess, i get p plate excess, i get high powered car excess. I told the guy on the phone mate theres excess on the excess! Ridiculous! But at the end of the day driving without comp......not worth it.
what kind of auto finance do you want?? what about a novated lease? you can use the calculator on www.bmwfinance.com.au to get rough estimates of leasing costs and you can adjust the baloon etc.
I went through macquarie finance in sydney. Apparently they werent the cheapest but that is what my salary packaging company 'smartsalary' used. meh.
