Default Engine wiring diagram

Dear S2000ophiles,

Can anyone help me with the wiring diagrams for the S2000 engine loom, immobiliser loom, dash and body loom?

I like the S2000 engine so much I want to transplant one into my race car. I need to work out how much of the Honda wiring is required, and where I can tap into it.

What's the race car? A race car with an S2000 engine would be totally awesome. I think it would be kind of fun to put a smaller VTEC engine in my Formula Ford, but it would probably be massively over powered and scary

Hi,

The race car is Lotus 7 replica.

see

www.prbaustralia.com.au

My existing car has a 4age powerplant and laps Wakefield 1:02, and Eastern creek 1:38.

The S2K engine should make it fly.

You are the guy I saw winning at Wakefield last weekend! Your car clearly flies. Have you gone quicker "unofficially" than last week, because the official fastest time was 1:03.1652? (This guy holds the lap record folks). Nevertheless, that's a full second quicker than my 1989 Van Diemen, which is highly impressive for any production based car. What's your power output and racing weight? 200hp and <600kg maybe? I'm stuck at 100hp and 500kg but any more power and I'd need bigger tyres - oh, and it wouldn't be a Formula Ford any more

Also, I thought I heard the commentators saying you are the agent for PRB and that your car was for sale?

By the way one thing that you may not know is that most Honda engines spin the "wrong" way. I am not sure if this extends to the F20C used in the S2000 but you may need to change your diff gears or whatever.

There is a guy in Honda Sports Car Club - QLD who has a F20C powered clubman. Apparently it goes like shower of shit. He won a stage in targa tasmania.

I could get his e-mail address for you.

Yeh,

That was me in the yellow PRB. The 1.02.8 was in qualifying when I got a tow while passing another car. I couldnt get down to that time in the race as I was out in front and pushing my own air.

My father is the PRB NSW agent, and yes my car is for sale.

The engine is a heavily worked Toyota 4a 16 valve. It has 225hp at 7200rpm and 170 ft/lb torque at 6200rpm. The gearbox is a 5 speed dog engagement custom built special. Apart from the modest driver, most of the cars speed comes from the well sorted Koni 8211 dampers.

My interest in the S2000 engine is because it has more power than my full race engine, but with street legal emissions. The power output is remarkable and Honda should be commended for putting it into production.

Call me if you want to upgrade your FFord.

Like the picture of the toy car.
