Although I have no experience in the efin im guessing that with bigger rubber to handle those power the car would give the top radical a run for its money.
Seriously, there comes a point where increasing power is pointless. I have a feeling that point may have already been exceeded in the MS8.

79K to 96K for a track only car. That you would only use every other weekened
or a car with
Traction control
ABS braking system
Cruise control
More potential Kw
Two seater
Can be driven on the road
Can be fixed by your local back yeard mechanic
Better looking
So the real question is, why would you buy a Radical.
cars built exclusively for the track
Australasia's latest car brand is offering three extreme models with base prices ranging from around $79,000 to $96,000.
buyer's choice of 180 to 320 bhp motorcycle-sourced engines.

MonaroCountry, you forgot couple very important things when summarizing the Radial ... like:
- It's 1/2 the weight of the Elfin
- It is more than likely a fair bit quicker in every respect
- It's ~$40k cheaper
And then there are the little details:
- It has a sequiential gearbox (instead of Commodore gearbox)
- It revs to buggery
Again I like the Elfin, bot for me it's not worth more than $70k. For less than $100k I'd expect something like Caterham R500 ... and that is in a different league to the Elfin (even though IMHOthe Elfin looks a lot better):

Q: Why would you buy a Radical?
A: To go quick on a race track.
They are pretty good track cars (all can take passengers) although a dedicated single seater should whip them. $250k for the small blocks with the options and probably $300k for the

If I'm not mistaken that F360 LHD track only car went for $160K. I'd have that over Radical any day even though it would be slower.
For me it's not so much how fast the car can go, but how fast I can make it go.
