Default Easy ways to improve the sound system...

Have read a couple treads on this, but would like to get more opinions on ways to improve the sound system in the car without doing too much wiring and cutting out of speaker brackets etc, understand the quickest way to improve the sound system is to change the stock speakers ... any recommendations out there ..

Alpine SPS-1629 slot straight in with no cutting.

There may be other brands.

Can't remember off hand but it wasn't drastic. Under $200 (or thereabouts) if I recall correctly.

I got Brisbane Car Sound to install mine. Don't know if there's one in Sydney though? Any car sound shop should do it for you or you can do it yourself quite easily.

Druery's in Harbord Rd Brookvale are an Alpine specialist and have done some S2000's.

What part of Sydney are you in?

Upgrading the deck is quite essential, you might find the OEM output quite weak in comparisons. The other upgrade is the speakers as well ... A good place to get them done in Sydney is probably CSI - Car Sound & Image, I believe they have relocated to Wetherill Park or somewhere close.

Thanks guys, was about to go to Wes - Alpine distributors in Ashfield, would have a go at your recommendations.

AusS2000, I'm based in the eastern subs.

Takashi nice to see you gracing the boards again...
