Okay, I think we need to leave at 0645 sharp to allow time for the drive - there may be fog this time of year. Anyone who wants to join in can. Car precheck at Winton is at 0830 - 0900. This should allow plenty of time.
The Caltex Servo is on Melway Map 180, just before the Reserve Bank. We can refuel at Benalla (16km from track).

I am all ready to go to winton. Got my car serviced today, Brakes, clutch and everything checked as required and my alignment set to the UK recommended Optimum Specification. I guess I will find out whether it is better than the standard soon.

Does anyone knows how many are going up to Winton on Sept 10. It appears only 3 of us are driving up on the tuesday morning. Are some of you fellas going up the day before?

He's currently based in Melbourne, but regularly travels to Brisbane & Sydney for work....in fact he will be based out of Sydney, as of next week (so I guess he is just pre-empting that in his 'profile'?)!
