Driving up to Winton Sept 11

Is anyone interested in driving up as a group up to Winton on Sept 10. It is my first trip and I am not familar with the drive up there. It is my first trip to attend this sort of a drive. oops had wrong date on the top

We usually meet at the Caltex on Hume (approx 5kms after the Ford factory?) when driving to Winton. I am intersted in a group drive 
It always turns heads!

"No passangers, spectators or pets" ... that's what the confirmation material from JB sais.
Though, at the HSCC Winton day in November you can do so (not sure about pets though :-). That is unless something has changed since last year.

Guys,
I am interested in driving up as a group - when are you going - the guy I spoke to at John Bowe Driver Training suggested travelling the night before to reduce fatigue on the day etc. but that creates a time issue for me.
Post when you are going and if I can, I'll join you.

I will be going in the morning of the 10th. I will be coming down the night before as I am from Warrnambool. As someone said is more fun going as a group. I had a great time driving up to Dalesford with 2kturkey leading the way. Iggy_type R rekons they normally meet at the Caltex on Hume. This is only my second outing with the S2000 group so I need someone to lead on this. Not very familar with Melbourne.

So, given we are likely to at least have a few for the drive as a group, can someone confirm a time and location.
Caltex on the left, Sydney side of Ford
Time: ??
We will need to refuel on arrival so that will need to be factored in. I'd post an option here only I can't even remember what time we start at the track?
