Yep, it's a howling diff.

Seriously, without more info we can't help much.

How many Ks?
How long since your last diff service?
Do you launch/drive hard/drift?

Under what conditions does the diff howling occur? When going from a stand still or whilst already at speed? Been hearing about people having this issue but haven't experienced it first hand.

Mine made a lot of noise. I disconnected the prop shaft which allowed me to determine the noise was actually the diff and not the gearbox.

When I removed the diff the pinion teeth were peeling back and very close to letting go.

If the noise pitch is proportional to road speed and at a fixed speed remains the same irrespective of the gear you are using its most likely the diff.

Get it checked ASAP as it will do lots of damage to the LSD and other internals if it lets go.

Chris.
