Design a bumper air duct or some other 3d printing stuff
Hi Guys
I am very new here. I got my S 4 years and I decided to mass around with it.
(I got some 3d modelling and 3d printing skills. But I aim to keep the S2000 design how should look, add elements that matching the design)
First of all, I kind of started designing an air duct on the bumper.
the MotoIQ posts are inspiring me about the ram air idea.

I try see if anyone has the idea or such experience of putting a duct on the bumper? like this
Also, like to share my design and ideas with the community.
Please also share your ideas and see what other things I can explore.
PS: I got a pair of spare headlights taken apart (AP1). I may add some DRL or such but keeping the original design. Feel free to share your mod experience please~
Thanks in advance.

here is my version 1 design.
Not sure how feasible with the thin edge and allow for cover the cuts and tolerance between. any idea for how much I should give it to the fringe?

If you could design a snorkel to fit the stock air box that doesn’t involve cutting the bumper, I’d be keen. Maybe something like the Spoon Sports snorkel?

Hi Taztiger79. I don't have 3d model for the chassis and frame. So I can't really be guessing and do 3d print. ( also the middle part cross the radiator is very thin right?
Otherwise, if you have a 3d model for the things inside I maybe could design something around it.
I understand the cutting the front bumper may not be ideal. But I think it will work not only for the look...
