Default DECA 'event' on 21st Feb....

The MX-5 club is having a DECA day (at Shepartton) on the 21st of Feb. They are going to have some 'motorkahama' as well as driver-training on the the day so all levels of drivers should be catered for. From the e-mail I got from them it seem that they will be not only using the skid-pan area, but also other areas of the complex (ie. the track/handling-loop at the back).

My plan is to go to this event, and as soon as the entry forms become available, I'm sending my in. Anyone else interested in coming? If so, I'll post the link to the entry-form here as it'll be booked on the 1st-in-best-dressed principle.

Count me in!
The last time I went to DECA was in my MX-5 a few years ago and I had a ball of a time.

Do you have to take out a one-day membership to the MX5 club as well?

i think it was only $60 when I went with the MX-5 club but I'm not sure what it is for non-members. There were other cars present on the day too and from what I recall they needed one-day memberships.

Probably, but I'm not expecting this more than $100 all up. Actually, probably less than $80. WIll post more info once MX5 club have released it.

I heard from the MX-5 club in regards to the price. It will be $60 but so far no mention of a need for one-day-membership ... still I'd expect that to be charged as well and it should be less than $15.

ps. No entry forms available yet.

No, not as far as I know. DECA events do not have any of these requirements ... you just need a car and a driver with a licence usually.

Will doubkle check though.
