Heya, I found the cause of this mishap last nite ... when an antenna transmitter propelled itself out of my backside and started sending 1024 bit encrypted messages (probably porn) to an alien race far far away. So looks like chris_barry was right. No wonder I experienced a blackout for a split second ... I was tortured on an alien ship. I am now going to retire with the money that New Idea is paying me for this story.
I'll consider it a freak incident

The mystery of Iggy's slide was solved at Phillip Island yesterday. He has a slow leak in his left front tyre. Yesterday when we looked at it - it was down to (estimated) 22psi.
It could well have been that at the time of Iggy's slide the left front was less than 20psi whilst the other three were all 36psi or more!

How did you guys go at the Island yesterday? Can you give us some times/speeds that were done on the day?
As far as Iggy's front-leak goes .... I would have though that having a leak/flat would make the car go straight and not spin. On the other hand a leak/flat at the back would make the car spin. That's what oyu see when you watch the racing-cars get a leak/puncure.

DavidM, Iggy's car is an Integra with Front Wheel Drive.
I know, but that still does not change that the tyre with leak/flat is the one with least grip. In this case a front tyre. If the front tyre has less grip then a rear one, then the car should understeer off the road ... not spin. Though, that's just the theory. Does someone know otherwise?
