Hi all.
Just wondering if there's any websites that sell the latches that are on the roof, that you use to lock the roof to the windscreen. The part which you squeeze to unlock the roof is broken, and I need to replace it.
I'm also in a MY00, so I'd probably look at replacing the locking points (on the windscreen) as well, as they're worn.
Failing being able to get it online, I'll contact my local honda centre and order it through them.
Thanks

"Roof Strikers & latches is what I think you're after?
$160 from Honda for the strikers, I think, no idea for the latch itself.
Just undo your strikers, and put them on the other side if they are worn out. Being placed on the other side, they don't catch in the same spot. Saves $160 and works like a charm.
As for the broken latch? Try a wrecker? Or maybe even that Ozzie guy who smashed his red S2K would sell them to you cheap?

Dunno whether this will help with your issue or not - or even if they're directly relevant........ BUT, there are some old threads on roof strikers etc here ..

i know this isn't about a broken roof latch; but i got excited and fixed something and had to post straight away!
TO FIX RATTLING ANNOYING ROOF LATCHES -
dont buy new roof strikers/latches! just get a bit of vacuum hosing from autobarn, the black one. Put this around the roof latch hooks, now when you latch it on, it goes on nice, tight and firmly. This also eradicated another problem! noise coming in the cabin with the roof up, its sealed it up nice and tight so there is no longer a gushing wind noise coming into the cabin when you are doing 100km/h on the freeway. the best thing is it cost nothing to do. You could even use electrical tape wrapped around the hook if you dont have boost hose.

while we're on the topic, my roof doesnt seal.
after i close the roof and latch it.. i have to press the button a second time and it locks into place.. other wise it sounds like a wind tunnel in the car
any ideas as to how to fix?
