They look good. Itd be a nice way of helping the liscence plate blend in with the rest of the car. Id just paint my own I think that way it would match the car paint and still not be noticeable to the police.

Unfortunately you're not allowed to do that. Has to be the right sort of paint.

I'd paint mine all black. But then I'd end up in jail where license plate making is all the rage.

You think theyd pin you if you painted your own to look like theirs only with MCblue instead of their blue? Still with the digits and letters the right colour(white).

I dont think that itd be noticeable enough to stand out.

Victoria has a blue plate that is a very close match to MCB...
- before you ask, I'm holidaying in Brisbane, and didn't pack the camera.

Those NSW plates are very good. I wonder if there's any plans to introduce something similar in Victoria? Anyone heard anything?

It looks as if Western Australia is ahead of its time in something for a change.

We have had coloured plates for years.

http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/plates/custom.html plus heaps more!

My personalised plates are blue with black letters (they now match my headlights and car). I have transfered the same plates to all of my cars from having the plates originally on my very first car, a Gemini.

I can even have my beloved South Sydney Rabbitohs as a plate.

Sue
