Howard at Race Brakes would be someone to talk to about alternatives.

I notice that there's a couple of clutch manufacturers who advertise on this board (USA based). Perhaps you could order one in and get somebody to fit it for you.
A number of people have mentioned the Exedy clutch so I assume they're available in Australia.
I guess the subject of clutches has been one of the most frequently discussed issues since this board began. Perhaps try "Under the hood" or some of those similar forums.
If you need help in learning how to use the "search" function don't be too embarrassed to ask.

The Exedy is very expensive....it is also tough to drive, it's like an on/off switch. Go with an ACT kit. It's a stock Honda disc, and a slightly heavier Honda pressure plate.

The early model S2000s (1999 - mid 2002?) had weak springs in the clutch plate. The new revised clutch now has stronger springs.
Any clutch you buy from a Honda dealer today should be the revised clutch with stronger springs.
However, the standard Honda clutches are not suitable for drag racing. If you want to go drag racing you should get a stronger clutch that has been designed for that purpose.
It's a lot cheaper to buy a heavy duty clutch than it is to replace the standard clutch three times a year.
