Chewing Gum on paintwork
Hi,
It looks like my drivers side front wheel ran over some chewing gum, made a sticky mess of it and threw it all over the paintwork. What is the safest way to remove it?

sounds nasty bro
best thing to do is use bug / tar remover . spray on and use a clean cloth to wipe off . Its safe to use on metalic paint surface . I often use it to remove road tar from some of my guards .
Also , if there are stains / spots left from it , you can use Meguires deep crystal paint polish to really remove all spots .
Give that a go

I use eucalyptus oil to get chewy off most things. Not sure if it's duco safe though.
There are a number of 'Goo Gone' type products available for cars. I picked some up (orange spray pack) at Bunnings recently.
