i recently bought a cheap air intake cost 150 shipped from us. the filter sits down near the smaller cut outs on the ap1 front bar and sucks in nice fresh air as i cut both the holes out.i just thought id let you know that it sounds unbelievable right through the rev range and when your in a tunnel like the m2 epping tunnel vtec is fcking fantastic(so so loud) and it seems to make a difference down low in response.anyway i couldnt recommend it enough and dont really see the point of paying $600 for a aem v2 or k&n one as surely they have to be almost the same thing

I got an AEM V2 and it's probably the mod that i am most satisfied with. I guess it comes down to if you want cheap parts in your car or not for similar results.

yeh thats fair enough and im not the type of guy to buy anything cheap but i just couldnt justify or understand why the could charge so much more

yeh pretty much just after the sound tho i did notice a difference in response aswell
