Cheao paint
Any ideas where I can buy some really cheap water base paint? ( don't care what colour ) I need it to cover some graffitti and feel it is a better thing to paint rather than shoot the little Sh*&ts that keep comming back to my wall.
Any suggestions accepted.

YF, Bunnings have the best prices in town - believe me, I know.
I'd still be tempted to keep a couple of 4 litre cans of enamel (i.e. turps based paint) sitting on your balcony though. Next time the little bastards come around I'd tip the whole bloody lot all over them.
I have NO, repeat NO, sympathy for grafitti-isers - something I consider as one of the lowest forms of crime.

Offer them money to paint a mural or advertisement of your own design. Don't you have any clients who would be willing to pay 25% of the usual fee for an ad on your wall? Turn this minor problem into a business opportunity.
Alternatively, I notice that another local resident in your area has a big picture of Pamela Anderson on his wall. I assume that this has not attracted any graffiti? What about another ad for Hooters?

You can paint over the top of it, they can paint over it again. You can paint over the the top and then use the anti-vandal coatings to try and stop them doing it again. The anti-vandal coatings are meant to prevent new paint sticking to the coating. Of course if you keep on covering their "art" up then they can vandalise the surface. If it was a timber fence they could burn it down.
"Pamela" has been "egged" a couple of times.
I saw a panel beaters near Swinburne that has used the "turn your enemy in to your friend" routine outside their premises. I first saw it in the 90's and was impressed with the reverse pyschology aspect. To my suprise it's still standing there (or a reasonable fascimile of it - it may have been updated). It's not just a mindless "tag" more of a mural.
I'd try a paint store rather than Bunnings, just on general principle.
