if you are keen on the wheels then you should spend extra, get wheels with correct offsets, widths and tyres of correct width ratio. Failure to do so may enhance the snap oversteer characteristrics of the s2k.

One of my mate just totalled his s2k on Sunday night in the wet with 245/40/18 all rounds He purchased the wheels despite my advice too
Good advice mate. Whatever wheels i get i wil make sure i get them with the right offset and width similar to the stock rims. I may change to 17inch but i wont get anything bigger than that. Mainly cause i have heard this changes the handling of the car and starts to rubb under the wheel bay. I bought the car for its handling so i wont want to change that. I think so far i have heard that 17" are good and stable.

But i might lower the car a little bit.. Happy now Vuey!

I like both the ENKEI TARMAC EVO WHEEL, and the VOLK RACING TE37 in white. Anyone know if these wheels are available for the S2k in the correct offset and width and how much the cost? from the site the ENKEI TARMAC's are $460 per wheel i believe. Thats cheaper than the current ENKEI wheels that come stock on the car.

one of the guys that used to post here has a set of white te37 on his red s2k. his plates r S2K. i believe he was selling them at one stage, but i dont know now, i see him occassionally around UTS driving around.
i think that for a set of 18" with rubber, its gonna be about $5000.

hmm im thinking more along the 17" because of better handling, no scrappage or rubbage, cheaper tires.. but if there are more possitives or any possitives to 18" other than the look factor i would love to be persuaded.

im running 18" volk TE37s with the correct width/offset as recommended by Rays for the s2k:

F: 18x7.5 +48mm offset
R: 18x8.5 +50mm offset

Whoopps; I just had a look a the Compomotive site http://www.comp.co.uk/

Couldn't see any wheels in the half inch sizes anymore. Perhaps they've reduced their range??

Perhaps give Stuckeys a call on 9386 5331

Not me. I don't see the point in a heavy fibreglass/CF bonnet with no vents. All you're really getting is the look.
