can you use VAFC II as a meter only

Do a search for the VAFC library. It's a big thread in under the hood. As I recall, you have to setup a few parameters for the s2k in the calibration settings. I guess these settings would be the same for the DC5R but it is best to double check.

yeah im not sure that what im finding is the right thing.
this is my find:
i checked my settings in the "etc"-Menu:
Sensor No: In "06" Out "06"
Car Select: Cyl "4" Thr "arrow-right-up" V/T "1"
Disp Scale: Pr "0kPa" Ne "10000rpm" Cr "+- 3%"
This settings are default, except Ne, which was "6000rpm" (but because the S2000 gets over 9000rpm ...)
V/T Info says:
V/T Info: L->H "6600rpm"
The Manual says about the "V/T Info" menu: "In the V-AFC II, VTEC changeover points of the factory ECU are learned and the learning information is displayed. ..."
But why the hell it tells "6600rpm" instead of "5800rpm"?? Does my ECU goes to VTEC on 6600 instead of 5800???
my question is , would all the settings here be the right setting for a near stock S2K (i have a drop in K&N filter)?
im not entirely sure if this is right if it is i will go ahead with it but need to recheck my find is right.
all iw ant to use it as is a meter, no adjusting (unless its a proven plus for a stock car without hurting the motor or the overall ride of the near stock S2K).
i chucked this up in under the hood just to see if any other interstaters have done it!!!
