Burning smell

yes thats best, if its not something obvious like a plastic bag or rubbing of tyres & guard ,best to get it checked out by one of the pros at Hannys . I rate them highly.

I also had a burning smell coming from the rear, It was coming from the rear wheels after i got my rear pads changed, I drove the car on Monday night seems to have gone... I thought it was a plastic bag but I checked underneath and I couldn't see anything either...

did you get OEM pads or aftermarket ? as i use to get smells from my aftermarket rear pads .

Yea the smell for me looks like its coming from the brake pad as well.
I just hope it doesn't wear away the brake pad until i get it checked out

Check the rear diff mounts.

they crack and leak fluid right on to the exhaust pipe...

I checked around mainly the exhaust area doesn't look like any fluids are leaking. I sorta followed the exhaust down to see if the smell would be stronger at some points.

It smells really strong from the brake area so I have a feeling its coming from the calipers.

Same as mine the smell was the strongest around the rim. I think mine were from the new rear pads but the smell seems to have gone..
