Default Bulk buy road/semi-race tyres - dealer presentations

Could people register their interest in me organising for the reps from Toyo, Yokohama etc giving the club a presentation on road and semi-race tyres, and us trying to get a "bulk"deal.

You had to ask right after I bought a new set of Yokohama ES1000s, wouldn't you? $980 for the set of four.

I can tell you though - they're bloody good. As good as the S02s, at $400 a set less.

Hmm, what's there to tell? I got standard 205/55 R16s Front and 225/50 R16s Rear.

They grip extremely well, especially in the dry. I haven't pushed the too hard in the wet yet, though ABS seems to kick in a little early in the wet. Might have been soft suspension though. Will need to try again now that I've got my new shoclks. (now if it'd only rain)

Road noise is very quiet. I can't compare them to the Original S02s, since it's been a year since I had them (had a dodgy set of Aquatreds between the two) but I can't expect them to be much quieter.

Overall, I have no gripes at all about the Yokos. They've held the road very well, with a predictable feel and a comfortable ride.

Tyre change was before the Konis.

This was actually about 2 months ago, so it wasn't truly "right after."
