Alternatively, speak to a relocation or transport company. You'll find them in the Yellow Pages.

my two cents.....worth the drive.

A car via the train can take over a week and cost upwards of 1200.

I heard that transport fees are up big time because of high prices of diesel, I drove once from Syd to Perth and never ever again, it's all good from Syd to Adelaide but from there to Perth it's all same ozzi styled desert, very boring 2000kms

I can't remember which way round it is, but transporting a car one way is far cheaper than the other.

If i remember correctly sending a car to Perth is the cheaper option (by train), as they are empty on the way back to Perth.

Fly down and drive back, it will be a awesome journey getting too know your car at the same time.
driving about the eastern side is no problem. but it's not the same driving 3,500km back to perth.
