Default Bridgestone 540s short supply

Just spoke with Craig from Mansons tyres ( 97202899 ) re getting a full set of 540s for Winton next month. These tyres are in very short supply especially the rears. If you are looking at getting or replacing a set in the near future my advice is to place your order at least a month in advance. These tyres are being used on a lot of race cars at present and hence their short supply. Don't forget to mention your with HSCC as the cost for a full set is about $1300.00. See you all on the track at Winton 10 September, even our President on on the track in his blue M3. We will also have a Ferrari 355 challange to try and catch, he does a 1.34.

Methinks the yellafella is responsible for the 540S drought.

I think he bought up the whole Aussie stock pile just so no other S2000 can be as fast as him

They are road legal but you'd be crazy to use them for that. They work at about 100 degrees and make a noise like a jet plane taking off.

You can get Dunlop D01Js from Stuckeys no problems, but they are more expensive than the Bridgestones....oh yeh, and they come in the correct size for the front.
