today i had a strange thing happen to me whilst i was on a rdo and took my gf to the zoo.i had my front driverside brake lock up and not release like it should resulting in a bad smell and then smoke coming from the wheel.thankfully when i pulled over and pumped the brakes for a few minutes and it fixed it self but i was wondering is that a sign my caliper is seizing up

Never hear d of that but yeah you could be right.

I would at least pull the wheel and caliper and clean it up.
